Cycle route one big nature experience
Helden, Helenaveen, Heusden
With this bicycle route of exactly 55 kilometres you will experience a large part of the municipality of Peel and Maas. You will cycle through forests, along canals and roads, through hamlets and villages and along nature reserves. National Park De Groote Peel is the biggest experience on the route. Get off your bike here and take a nice relaxing walk through this area, we can warmly recommend the Knuppelbrugroute. You will even experience two provinces in one day, as De Groote Peel is located on the border of Brabant and Limburg. You will also pass the nature reserves Vesting en Belfort Vossenberg and the Waterbloem, both of which have their own unique nature. At the Vossenberg there is a watchtower that gives you a fantastic view of the area. Start and finish this cycling experience at Restaurant De Belaeving in the middle of the woods near Helden with a view of magnificent vineyards.
