Open-air museum Erve Kots shows how the Achterhoek farmer used to live and work. Ride the farmer through the vast meadows, along farm roads and past Saxon farm Eskes. Park your bike at Boerderijmuseum De Neeth with its unique collection of utensils from the past. Apart from the old farm from 1910, you can also say hello to the cows in the modern dairy. The beautifully restored farm in Zelhem called Museum Smedekinck is definitely worth a visit. Cycling this route on a Saturday? Then get off your bike at Ekoboerderij Arink to experience the organic farm life of today. Nice to see how farming life has evolved over the centuries! Use your common sense and make sure to take a break in time to fill your stomach. What the farmer doesn't know he doesn't eat doesn't apply at Eetcafé de Groes. The enormously varied menu has something for every peasant. Enjoy old-fashioned hospitality and cosiness with a view of Achterhoek village life.
