Discover the Utrechtse Heuvelrug on this beautiful cycle route, which takes you through rolling landscapes and cosy villages. Start the route in Driebergen and cycle via Austerlitz to Huis ter Heide. Along the way, you will not only see beautiful nature, but also experience the area's rich history. For example, at the old Prince Alexander boarding school in Huis ter Heide, where Princess Margriet spent her school years. Fancy a break? Along the route you will find numerous cosy cafés and restaurants where you will be hospitably welcomed. Enjoy a delicious lunch or a fresh cup of coffee overlooking the green landscape. After a restful stopover, you are ready to climb back into the pedals. A nice Pit stop on the route is the visitors' centre Boswerf near Zeist. This centre is a treasure trove of information on local flora and fauna and an ideal starting point for those who want to explore even more.
