Cycle route along recreation area Bussloo
Twello, Voorst, Bussloo
This versatile cycle route leads you through the forelands of the river IJssel along an old ruin. In and around this ruined castle from the 13th century live bats, otters, beavers and special bird species. You continue cycling past a bird-watching hut where, with a bit of luck, you may spot the Hen Harrier or a Wren to continue your way through the rural areas of Wilp and Voorst. In recreation area Bussloo, you can take a short break on one of the beaches or terraces, but you can also easily spend a longer time by the water here. Recreational area Bussloo offers you every opportunity to do so thanks to its spacious sunbathing areas, sandy beaches and many facilities. For children, there are several playgrounds, you can play beach volleyball, go diving, play golf, go horse riding and fishing. But don't forget to cycle on via De Wilpermolen to cosy Twello and sit down at one of the sunny terraces. Once you have cycled this route, you will have a day with the most diverse memories!
