Early spring, especially between February and April, is rattle time. The time when the male hares go looking for females, tolerating no competition. But also during the rest of the year, you can see hares shooting through the field, with that fairy-tale castle in the background. By the way, it is not the only special building you may come across during this cycle route. Moreover, you will also cycle past a unique piece of nature reserve at the foot of the Loosdrechtse Plassen, authentic marsh and swamp forest.
