If you love the city and nature, this cycle route is just right for you. This beautiful route not only takes you right through Dwingelderveld, but also on the other side of the A28 motorway you can enjoy cycling through pretty little villages and beautiful nature. Start at the visitors' centre Dwingelderveld, cycle towards the Holtingerveld and enjoy 41 beautiful model gardens at Art Garden Drenthe in Dwingeloo. Visit Dwingeloo's historic radio telescope. Did you know that two small galaxies near the Milky Way were discovered by this radio telescope, among other things? As you cycle straight through Hoogeveen, you will discover the cosy and busy Hoofdstraat. Here you will also find De Cascade, Europe's longest water artwork. Hop on your bike and get to know Drenthe a little better!
