In Tubbergen, they know how to relax! They themselves say that the inhabitants experience much less stress than in the rest of Twente. And rightly so, because in the midst of rich nature and with plenty of recreational opportunities, you can completely relax here. The historic mills in this area are also a beacon of peace. You pass three water mills and two windmills when you cycle this route. The villages of Geesteren, Vasse, Ootmarsum, Haarle, Reutum and Fleringen offer a place to stop for an ice cream, lunch, a nice cup of coffee or to stroll through the cosy shopping street. The scenery is mouth-watering! In the northern part of Twente, the landscape is gently sloping. Springs, meadows, old oaks and wooded banks alternate. It is beautiful to cycle here!
