Cycle through the green heart of Brabant and discover a landscape full of variety. Narrow roads take you past hamlets such as Polsdonken, Tregelaar and Vrilkhoven, where farm life can still be felt. Here you will find peace and quiet among old farms, vast fields and shady forests. Nature shows its best side in Kampina, with flowering heather and tranquil fens. In the valley of the Beerze, water winds through the landscape, where kingfishers and roe deer feel at home. A literal highlight is the observation tower near Banisveld. From here you have a beautiful view of the surroundings. With a bit of luck, you might spot a red deer or wild boar at the large game viewing screen. History is never far away here either. Castle Stapelen in Boxtel tells stories from the past and at the Spoordonkse Watermolen (watermill) you can see how hydroelectric power was used for generations. A trip through this area means enjoying peace, nature and Brabant charm.
