Buren, Zoelen, Maurik, Rijswijk

During this cycle route, you will pass through the villages Erichem, Kapel Avezaath, Kerk Avezaath, Zoelen, Eck en Wiel and Maurik. All these places are in the Municipality of Buren and all have less than 5,000 inhabitants. Picturesque little villages mostly surrounded by fruit farms and rivers. In spring, the blossom often produces beautiful pictures.

At the fortified town of Buren itself, you feel like you've gone back in time. All the old buildings combined with the city walls, ramparts, canals, city pumps and old cannons create the historical feeling. Visit the various museums to learn more about the town or step into one of the many browsing shops.
