Arnhem, Rozendaal, Rheden, Velp

Not in the mood for nature alone? Then this route is a nice mix. Get on your bike and experience a small part of Arnhem, Rozendaal and the smaller towns Rheden and De Steeg. Arnhem is a city with a rich history, as you will see when you cycle through the city. Near Rozendaal you will find a beautiful castle with an accompanying park. Rosendael Castle is historically decorated and gives a nice glimpse of what it used to be like to live in a castle. Near Rheden, you cycle close to the river IJssel. During this cycle route, you will cross National Park Veluwezoom. This is the oldest Dutch National Park, with approximately 5000 hectares of contiguous nature. Leave the hustle and bustle of the cities behind for a while and enjoy the beautiful views in this park.
