Cycle route through the dunes of North Holland
Callantsoog, Bergen, Petten
The North Holland dunes offer you every opportunity for a nice long cycle tour. The dunes are interspersed with small villages and well-known seaside resorts, where you can also leave the dunes for a walk on the beach. You may have found some inspiration in the Juttersmuseum and as you know, there is plenty of special stuff to be found along the coastline.
Some parts of the route almost cross each other, so you can easily shorten the route yourself. You can do this for example at the junctions at 37 and 38 or 20 and 21. But be careful when making this choice, because you will miss a part of this beautiful route.
Please note! During this route you will cycle through the Noordhollands Duinreservaat, which is managed by the drinking water company PWN. Prepare for your visit and buy a ticket (dune card) (from 18 years of age) on their website www.pwn.nl/duinkaartkopen. For only 2 euros per day, you can enjoy these beautiful dunes to the full.
