Cycle route through the Biesbosch

Discover the National Park De Biesbosch on your bicycle during this route. You can enjoy the beautiful nature in this area. Many different kinds of animals live in De Biesbosch. The most famous one is the beaver. There are almost 300 beavers living in the area. You can easily come across the characteristic beaver castles!
Also bird lovers will have a great time here. You can spot kingfishers, spoonbills or even a sea eagle. It is one of the most special areas in the Netherlands. This cycle route takes you to the most beautiful spots.
Please note: Between junctions 08 and 90, you will be taking the ferry 't Leeuweveerke for a while. This ferry runs from April to October between 10:00 and 17:40. Check the website of the ferry for the current sailing times. Are you cycling on a day on which the ferry does not run? Then you can take a detour via nodes 90-12-41-42-43-02-08, or the other way round (about 12 km extra).
