Varsseveld, Aalten, De Heurne

This cycle route takes you past the most authentic spots the region has to offer. Enjoy the peace and space of the Achterhoek landscape as you ride along winding roads and through green meadows. It is a tour full of beautiful nature, cultural history and local attractions.

Along the way you will pass Beltkorenmolen Hermien, a beautiful old mill that still stands proudly above the landscape. A piece of history that is still alive! Take a moment here to admire the mill up close, or maybe even take a peek inside. It will give you an idea of how the miller milled the grain in the old days.

On the route you will find two beautiful museum farms: Het Hofshuus in Varsseveld and De Neeth in Aalten. Hop off here in the summer months for a look at farm life of the past. Two beautiful places that take you back to a time when farm life looked very different from today.
