During this cycle route through Raalte, Wijhe and Olst, you will mainly encounter vast farmlands and the characteristic countryside, with a hint of history and culture here and there. One of the highlights of this route is Kasteel de Haere, which has its origins in 1559 and has changed considerably over the centuries. Today, the castle is owned by the IJssellandschap Foundation. The operational Wijhese Molen also adds a special element to your ride. This mill has been around since 1703, making it the oldest octagonal tripod mill still in existence in Overijssel.
