Climb the Doldersummerveld observation tower to admire this impressive nature reserve from above and enjoy the great diversity of flora and fauna.

Today you might spot a Sayguesa cattle or, less unusually, a deer, stoat or squirrel. The Drents Friese Wold is full of unusual mammals, but the forest, meadow and marsh birds with their characteristic songs are also a delight for the eyes and ears.
