Cycle route Family fun in Putten

Putten, Nijkerk
Ride through the green countryside around Putten, where meadows and farms are mixed with peaceful forest paths. The surroundings are spacious, varied, and wonderfully relaxing. Along the way, there are several family-friendly spots where young and old can enjoy themselves or simply take a moment to rest before heading into the second part of the route.
That second stretch (unless you ride the route in reverse) takes you across the Putter Zeedijk, where you’ll have stunning views over the Nuldernauw. It’s an open section filled with sky, water and often plenty of boats. The lock along the way is also a fun place to slow down – not just to cycle across, but to watch the passing ships up close.
In short, this route is packed with variety and enjoyment for the whole family. Lots to see, lots to do, and just the right length so you never feel rushed.
Tip: Want to shorten the route? At junction 19, turn left, then immediately right to junction 60. From there, go right to junction 18 or straight on to junction 36 (shortest). Both options bring you back to the original route.
