Cycle route Fairly farming | Oosterhout
Oosterhout, Rijen, Gilze
Cycling through beautiful meadows, wooded landscapes and nostalgic villages: that's this cycle route between Tilburg, Oosterhout and Gilze. Meander along the junctions while enjoying the peace and quiet among the farmlands. Along the way, you will come across many farms offering their fresh produce in their country shops.
Start at Nature Gate Café BOS & Co, where you can park your car in the spacious car park. From there, make your way to two milk taps: the milk tap of farm Veelon in the outskirts of Rijen and milk tap 013 of farm Nieuwelijn in the outskirts of Tilburg. You've never had your milk this fresh!
As you leisurely pedal along, you look out over contentedly grazing cows. Take a look at the cosy yard of Farm Van 't Zand or sample daily fresh asparagus and strawberries at Leyten Asperges and Farm Tielemans in spring and summer.
With a homemade scoop ice cream from Boerderij De Grens, you will end your day satisfied. That was a wonderful outdoor farming adventure!
Tip: make sure you have plenty of panniers, because with so many farm shops along the way, there are lots of goodies to pick up!
