This cycle route takes you through three areas of Natuurmonumenten: the Dwingelderveld, the Holtingerveld and the Drents-Friese Wold. Lovely cycling areas with lots of heathland, woods and fens. For this reason alone, this cycling route is worthwhile. For butterfly lovers, this route has something extra: special butterfly species flutter around in all sorts of colours. Didn't see anything?
