Baarn, Soest, Soestduinen

This cycle route connects everything you must have seen around Soest. Royal sights such as Soestdijk Palace, Drakensteyn Castle and the statue of Juliana and Bernhard alternate with beautiful nature. You cycle through the Baarnsche bos, Lage Vuursche and the unique Soesterduinen drift sand area.

Adjacent to the Soesterduinen, you will also find Soesterberg Air Base Park. The airfield was opened to the public in December 2014, after 100 years. It feels a bit surreal to cycle along the runways, but it's a fun experience! At the National Military Museum, you can admire more than 300,000 military objects, from uniforms to tanks and aircraft to important deeds. It tells about the First and Second World Wars, as well as other military missions of the Dutch armed forces.
