The route from Opheusden to the Island of Maurik is a beautiful journey through the Betuwe countryside. With green meadows, flowering orchards and along meandering rivers, this region offers everything for a relaxing ride.

Leaving Opheusden behind, you soon reach the Lower Rhine. Along the banks of this river, you drive west to Maurik. After several kilometres through the beautiful floodplains, you arrive at the Eiland van Maurik. This recreational area is a popular destination among water sports enthusiasts. Admire the cosy marina, beaches and lush landscape.
