Wolfslaar is a monumental block-shaped country house, which has two storeys above the basement. It was built in 1862, commissioned by Charlotte Storm-Cuypers, and has a somewhat haphazard style. During construction, many natural stones were used and plasterwork was applied. The interior is richly ornamented.
The landscape parks around the house were probably laid out in 1880 by Lievin Rosseels, a landscape architect from Leuven. He also worked around 1885 on the redesign of the Nijmegen Kronenburgerpark after the city walls had been demolished. In the east facade, there is a gable stone from 1694. Old sources report that there used to be a farm here that was destroyed and rebuilt several times.
The manor house with its extensive estate is now used as an events location, the restaurant in the coach house has been awarded a Michelin star every year since 2005.
