In Elshout in Brabant, just above the Loonse and Drunense Dunes, you will find the Woutherushof vineyard and winery since 2006. The wine estate is named after the nearby water mill 'De Woutherus' and stretches over a beautiful rural area.
Although the soil of the Loonse and Drunense Dunes is mainly barren sandy soil, the soil around Heusden and Elshout, on the contrary, consists of heavy river clay. The perfect soil for vineyards!
Various grape varieties are grown in the fields of the Woutherushof. For red wines, Cabernet Cortis and Reberger grow there, for rosé and prosecco the Muscat Bleu is grown and for white wines Johanniter, Solaris and Helios. By making surprising combinations, the Woutherushof creates unique wines.
Almost all wines bear a seal of approval or medal. In short, if you stop by to taste a fine glass of wine here, you are guaranteed to experience the taste of award-winning quality products!
