At this site, the people of Ede commemorate the Second World War every year. 28 resistance fighters have their final resting place here in a specially designated area. People who died for the freedom of the Netherlands.

Two of these resistance fighters died on the day war broke out, 10 May 1940. Out of respect for these brave men, the graves look immaculate all year round. Someone has been appointed for this purpose. This person has the noble task of taking care of this.
