Visitor centre d'Oude Koestal - 's-Gravenzande
The visitor centre d'Oude Koestal is located in the Staelduinse Bos, which is part of Hollandse Duinen National Park. Walk in here to learn about this beautiful nature reserve. Learn about its genesis, flora, fauna and World War II bunkers.
The Staelduinse Bos is a deciduous forest on the foundations of the original primeval dune and a nineteenth-century estate. It is the habitat of bats, squirrels, the spotted woodpecker and many other bird species. In spring, the woodland hyacinths and lily of the valley are a feast for the eyes, but there is plenty to enjoy the rest of the year too.
