Veldkamp's Mill - Bellingwolde
The mill was built in 1855 as an oil and flour mill. During a storm in 1869, the cap was blown off, causing the walls to crack. On 29 December 1956, the last private owner, Henderik Veldkamp, sold the mill to the municipality of Bellingwolde.
After restoration, the mill was officially reopened on 12 November 1962. In 1974, damage caused by the severe storm of 13 November 1972 was repaired. The mill was damaged again during the New Year's storm of 1976, but this damage was later repaired. In 2002, the mill underwent a complete restoration.
