Aan de achterkant van de kerk ligt de Van Gogh tuin. Hier stond ooit de voormalige pastorie, woonhuis van de familie Van Gogh. Het pand is te zien op deze ansichtkaart uit ca. 1900.
Dit bronzen beeld van Vincent van Gogh staat achter de Van Gogh Kerk. Bij de audiozuil neemt hij je mee op zijn wandelingen door Etten.
In de kerk is een permanente expositie, die je laat kennismaken met Vincents Ettense periode.
De Sint-Lambertuskerk uit 1877, even verderop aan de Markt 62, is afgebeeld op enkele tekeningen van Vincent van Gogh.

Op een steenworp afstand ligt het historische Paulushofje. In streekmuseum Jan uten Houte kun je een authentieke boerenkamer bezichtigen: de Van Gogh Boerenkamer. Adres: Markt 52 t/m 61.

The Van Gogh Church you are standing in front of now used to be the church where Vincent's father, Pastor Theodorus van Gogh, preached. In 2014, this former Dutch Reformed Church was officially renamed Van Gogh Church, a tribute to Vincent and his family. The church houses a permanent exhibition that introduces you to Vincent's Etten period.

If you walk to the back of the church, you will see the Van Gogh garden. This is where the rectory used to stand. The back of the rectory had an extension, which Vincent was allowed to use as a study and later as a studio. Besides the garden, you will also find a bronze statue of Vincent behind the church. At the audio column, Vincent takes you on his walks through Etten.
