Valkhof Museum - Nijmegen

In addition to temporary exhibitions, Museum Het Valkhof in Nijmegen has permanent collections of Archaeology, Ancient and Modern Art. There is also an extensive specialised library with accompanying reading room where you can find backgrounds to the collections.
The museum also houses a gem from the Hanseatic period: a richly embroidered antependium of the Nijmegen skippers' guild. The antependium of the Nijmegen skippers' guild is the largest surviving embroidery from the Middle Ages in the Netherlands.
