Town Hall Veendam - Veendam

The old town hall of Veendam is an impressive building that has been the administrative centre of the municipality since 1878. It is built in neoclassical style. It has a stately appearance with its symmetrical facade and striking tower.

Once inside, be sure to take a look at the stained glass windows. They depict the family crests of influential Veendam residents. In the central hall you can walk along the Exhibition Wall to view (amateur) art by local artists.
