Tower mill Laar - Laar

Built back in 1806, this tower mill in German Laar on the banks of the Vecht fell into considerable disrepair in the following years. It became a playground, popular with children, until it was completely renovated in 1983. At the same time, the mill association was founded with the aim of preserving the mill.

Since 1992, the mill, also called Gallerieholländer, even has its own song written by Steven Lambers. Am Vechtestrand, ne Mühle steht, ho, ho, ho....
