Dinxperlo is a unique border town, because the national border runs through the middle of the village. The kerb on the south side of the Anholtseweg forms the border between the Netherlands and Germany. There is even a police station with a Dutch-German crew. Dinxperlo also has the smallest church in the Netherlands.
