TOP Weerselo - Weerselo
The Lemselermaten are located in Weerselo. Maten are wet hay grasslands, often surrounded by oak coppice walls, which were cut only once a year. Because lime-rich water came up through the hill here, you saw plants here that you only encountered on the chalk slope grasslands of South Limburg. Drainage has removed much of it, although slowly and carefully work is being done to restore this unique area.
