Anyone approaching the village of Zeddam will immediately notice it: the un-Dutch hills of Montferland. Chief among them are the Hettenheuvel, the Galgenberg and the Hulzenberg. From the highest point you have a wonderful view of the wide surroundings.

In the middle of the Montferland is the Bergherbos with small moors and mountain pines.
