The Shoe Quarter - Waalwijk
In the heart of Waalwijk, this museum connects the shoe industry's past with its future. The award-winning complex houses a huge collection of more than 20,000 objects, including 13,000 shoes. Visitors of all ages are invited not only to look, but also to take part in educational activities, such as designing their own shoe.
The museum also acts as a knowledge centre, where you can experience the entire production process, from leather tanning to shipping. Besides exhibitions and workshops, the Shoe Quarter is committed to innovation and sustainability, with a focus on reducing the industry's environmental impact.
