What used to be just meadows is now a beautiful nature reserve. In 2006, the meadows were excavated and a pond took their place. The lake is fed by seepage and rainwater and is the source of the Geeserstroom stream. The wet landscape is a favourite spot for water birds. So birdwatchers can have a great time here.
At several spots at the edge of the forest, you can find a bench to enjoy the beautiful view. You might even spot the Scottish Highlanders!
