Deep in the woods between Vierhouten and Nunspeet is a former secret village for people in hiding. Here, during the Second World War, around 80 people took refuge to avoid being discovered by the Germans. After the war, several huts were reconstructed. The huts can be visited free of charge and give a good impression of how people lived here. More information can be found on signs on the spot.
