The Haagse Toren is a medieval church tower that has meant a lot to the city of The Hague in its centuries-long history: for example, as a lookout tower, as a beacon, but also simply as a timepiece in the days when no one had a watch. The tower was built on an old dune ridge, hence the meandering Torenstraat. The tower can be climbed together with a guide on weekend days at 13:00 and 15:00 (in summer also on Thursdays and Fridays). Then you will hear the stories of this striking tower, see the mechanics inside, and enjoy 600 years of views from the top.
In addition to The Hague Tower, the Great Church is also regularly open for visits. Keep an eye on the website!
