The Fruit Tastery - Rijswijk (GLD)

The Fruit Tastery in Rijswijk looks inviting when seen from the road. The beautiful fruit trees, vegetables and herbs make for a colourful collection in the gardens and food forest. The Fruitproeverij's aim is to look after the land in a healthy way so that all manner of delicious and beautiful fruit and vegetables can be grown there. Everything is produced without chemical pesticides or artificial fertiliser. As a guest, you can relax in the garden and enjoy the natural products, such as a fresh, pure meal from your own garden.

There are various activities to do. There is of course a tasting of different kinds of fruit, but also workshops on drying fruit and vegetables yourself, making jam or recognising herbs. Enjoy an energetic massage or a personal coaching session, possibly with an overnight stay in one of the two spacious flats in the farmhouse. For children there are adventurous paths through the willows, a trampoline and opportunities to build huts from the willow branches. It is also an excellent location for a meeting due to the exclusive conference room, or for an (educational) group outing.
