The Concert Hall - Amsterdam
At the end of the 19th century, 'De Amsterdammer' asked how it was possible that there was no decent concert hall to be found in the new, dynamic Amsterdam. An answer was found: on 8 July 1882, six dignitaries from Amsterdam founded the NV Het Concertgebouw. During construction, phenomenal acoustics were created. Tours of this special building are given regularly.
