The Beach Aalsmeer - Aalsmeer
In the middle of Aalsmeer, halfway along Oosteinderweg, stands the historic Bloemenlust building. This monumental place served as a flower auction until 1972, which is still visible. The wooden trusses, granite floors, glazed tiles and rose stand with turntable have been carefully preserved.
In 1996, Bloemenlust was given a new destination: Europe's first indoor beach sports centre. This 7,000 m² of history is now a household name at home and abroad. With 6 indoor beach volleyball courts, various meeting and party rooms and restaurant The Beachclub, it is summer 365 days a year at "The Beach".
