In the dunes near Noordwijk, you will find the Atlantikwall Museum consisting of several World War II bunkers that were part of the Atlantikwall, a series of fortified defences built by the Nazis along the coast of Europe.
The museum bunker can be visited independently with an audio tour. But the corridor system is also open to the public accompanied by a guide. Here, you can get an idea of life in the bunkers during the war and how the Germans transformed the Dutch coast into a fortress.
