3 November 1944. Imagine: Across (north side) of the Mark Canal, German soldiers are sleeping in their foxholes. On the south side, Polish manpower silently assemble canvas boats in the dead of night while another division a little to the west launches a mock attack towards Terheijden and Wagenberg. You can hear how this ends via the listening column.
Next to the listening column you will also find the " Monument to Polish Soldiers, in the form of a boulder with a plaque.
