Statue Kern - Gieten
‘Kern’ is a good title for this crisp sculpture made of Corten steel and bronze. It is by Limburg artist Jos Willems.
Especially in his later work, space in form starts to play an increasingly important role for Jos Willems. The leaf is important, but is absent while that absence actually emphasises its presence: the negative becomes positive and vice versa.
