St Remigius parish church - Schimmert
The parish of St Remigius is well visible in the middle of the hilly landscape in the triangle of Maastricht, Heerlen and Sittard. From all surroundings you can admire the stately church perched atop the village which is a beautiful sight especially in the evening. The church's tall, upright tower is then illuminated and forms a beacon on the Schimmert plateau.
