The Korps Commandotroepen regularly uses Seppe airfield for practising parachute jumps. In fact, this airfield is close to the Engelbrecht van Nassau Barracks in Roosendaal. Parachuting is a squad specialisation within the KZT that can only be followed after completing the ECO and the VCO.
Should you want to parachute here, you can join the Eerste Nederlandse Parachutisten Club. This oldest paraclub in the Netherlands was founded in 1948 by military paratroopers who returned from the former Dutch East Indies and wanted to practice parachuting as a civilian sport in the Netherlands.
The site is also home to Vliegend Museum Seppe. Open on weekends from 13:00 to 17:00.
