When Ronald Eikelhof and Peter Groen bought a piece of land of about 3 hectares 20 years ago, they drew up the design themselves, for what would eventually become a sculpture garden, on a roll of wallpaper. Twelve years it took them to build the beautiful garden with ponds, rolling lawns, a rose garden, orchard and a Victorian arbour.
The decision to want to share the garden with visitors was quickly made and the idea of turning it into a sculpture garden was born. It is a delight to wander through this beautiful garden with its vistas and enjoy the views of the garden and objects by Dutch artists. The garden houses objects made of bronze, hard stone, glass, ceramics and even stainless steel, by classic and contemporary artists.
The sculpture garden also includes a terrace and an orangery, where you can enjoy lunch or a drink before continuing your bike ride.
