Schinkelbos, like several other small nature reserves in this area, is part of the Amsterdamse Bos. It is full of birds, insects and various smaller animals. During the breeding season, the area has limited opening hours to allow the birds to raise their offspring in peace.

You will find beautiful water features, pieces of woodland and lower shrub landscapes. A natural mowing machine is used here: Scottish Highlanders.
