Schellinkhout Town Hall was built in 1765 to replace the old, dilapidated town hall. In the former council chamber you can see beautiful walls with tiles that symbolically represent the concepts of 'justice, hope and love'. Under the stairs, in front of the town hall, is the door to the prison. The town hall has been a library since 1970 and is only open on Tuesday afternoons.
Stop on your cycling route to visit the library and admire this national monument from the inside.
