Estate Schaep en Burgh is an imposing country estate with stately avenues, centuries-old buildings and idyllic ponds. It is with good reason that Natuurmonumenten has its headquarters here. The estate is home to the Capitol, a garden house originally used as a billiard room. It is inspired by Ancient Greece: however, the columns are not made of stone, but of wood. When you get off at the house, admire the snake wall with figs and apricots, among other things.
