The city history of Emmerich illustrated by prehistoric finds and traces of Germanic, Roman and Franconian settlements. And an extensive collection of interesting objects relating to the development of shipping, river management and fishing. Models of all ship types and prepared fish found in and on the Rhine, Rhine maps, an old submarine and a life-size statue of Saint Christopher, patron saint of travellers. The collection at this museum just across the German border in Emmerich is endless.
