Restaurant Basalt - Den Oever
Restaurant Basalt was born out of a pile of basalt boulders that lay in the harbour of Den Oever before the construction of the Afsluitdijk. At Basalt you can relax from your bike route while overlooking the harbour. The fresh fish just about jumps on your plate. Luckily in the Basalt kitchen, they first create something tasty from it like the Oeverse fish soup or fried North Sea cod with mustard sauce. No appetite for fish?
